I've spent over a decade helping brands grow through search, building scalable workflows and internal tools along the way. I work across the full spectrum of search, from traditional organic results to AI search and the other platforms people use to discover and decide.
Brands I've worked with

I'm Nathan, Senior SEO & Automation Manager at Blue Array, one of the UK's leading specialist search agencies. Over the past decade my role has grown from delivering SEO, to leading it, to building the systems that help it scale.
Much of my work now centres on bringing automation to repetitive, manual tasks, freeing teams to focus on strategy and judgement. Several of those internal projects have grown into tools the wider team relies on.
My interest spans search as a whole, from traditional organic search to AI search and the platforms people increasingly use to find what they need. I follow these shifts closely and speak at industry meetups such as London SEO, where I value the chance to discuss where search is heading with fellow practitioners.

Lead the design of automated SEO workflows that help the agency deliver at scale, while directing strategy across key client accounts. A growing part of the role is helping the team respond to how search is evolving, from traditional organic results through to AI search and emerging platforms.
Managed a portfolio of client accounts across a range of sectors, owning strategy from technical foundations through to content and reporting. Supported and mentored junior colleagues, and helped raise the consistency of delivery across the team.

Set and delivered SEO strategy for ecommerce clients, balancing technical optimisation with commercial priorities. Promoted to senior after consistently strengthening organic visibility across the account base.
Delivered technical and on-page optimisation for a range of ecommerce brands, building the foundations of a structured, data-led approach to search.

Led the marketing function for a ski-transfer business, coordinating digital channels and campaigns to grow bookings through the peak season.
Supported activity across SEO, paid, and social. A growing focus on organic search here set the direction for the rest of my career.
A growing toolkit I've built in-house at Blue Array to make SEO faster, more scalable and more data-led. These are internal tools, so here's a look at what they do.
Maps a page against the entities and queries AI search actually explores, across Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT, then benchmarks it against competitors to surface the topical gaps worth closing.
Takes a keyword cluster, pulls the pages that rank most often across it, and compares their content and entities against a client page, surfacing the topics that need stronger coverage and the sections worth adding.
Pulls a business's Google reviews at scale and uses AI to surface customer pain points, the recurring complaints and themes in negative reviews, so they can be addressed in content, UX and on-page messaging.
